Hi, I'm Michael.

I'm a Seattle-based Product Designer who loves bringing clarity and cohesion to complex digital experiences.

I approach design with a systems mindset, creating interfaces and frameworks that scale across products and teams. My background in both design and development helps me bridge creativity with structure so everything I build looks and works seamlessly.

Growing up, I spent hours with Legos and Minecraft, always drawn to creating and organizing. Modding Minecraft on my mom’s computer sparked my fascination with how technology shapes the way people interact with ideas and each other.

That curiosity led me to study Human-Centered Design & Engineering at the University of Washington, where I explored the intersection of technology and people. I learned design isn’t just how things look, but how they work and scale to make life easier.

Now, I build systems that bring clarity, consistency, and scalability to digital products.

What I've Accomplished

  • Led the full redesign of WealthTeamWork, implementing a design system and visual identity that unified web and mobile experiences.

  • Overhauled a nonprofit’s website and database of 100,000+ articles at JANA, improving accessibility and user experience.

  • Learned to balance design quality with team velocity, using systems thinking to turn design into a scalable framework.

What's Next

  • Looking for opportunities to apply my passion for design systems and help teams create cohesive, scalable products.

  • Exploring how AI can enhance design workflows and shape the next generation of system-driven design.

  • Focused on growing as a designer who connects structure, craft, and emerging technology to create meaningful impact.
